USA Masters Records

USA National Masters records can only be set at USA Masters Weightlifting drug tested National and International competitions. These meets are: USA National Masters, Pan Am Masters, World Masters, and American Masters (American Master records can only be set at the American Masters as these are considered meet records). International Competitions that are not sanctioned by the IMWA will not count for records unless specifically mentioned for a particular year. World Records can be broken at the World Masters and Pan American Masters Championships and any IMWA sanctioned Continental Championships.

The Grand Slam Award

The Grand Slam Award awards those athletes who have competed in and won all 4 major Masters events in ONE calendar year. These events are: National Masters Championships, Pan American Masters Championships, World Masters Championships, and American Masters Championships.

Athletes who achieve the Grand Slam receive a patch and a plaque.

2021 Bill Clark Perseverance Award

Introducing the 2021 Bill Clark Perseverance Patch. This patch was given to Masters who competed in all 4 Master events in 2021. Beginning with the National Masters (March in Orlando), World Masters (Virtual), Pan Am Masters (August in Orlando), and HC American Masters (November in Reno). To be eligible, you must have entered and attended. Totals and placement do not matter, encouraging us all to keep lifting and hoping for a better 2021.
