USA Masters Hall of Fame membership was first awarded in 1993 with the inaugural class. Since the inception to 2025 inductions, we have recognized 109 Athlete Hall of Fame Honorees and 23 Significant Contributors members.
3.0 Significant Contributors
The Hall of Fame status report, published on the USA Masters Website, encourages each registered USAW Masters Weightlifting program member to nominate persons worthy of entry into the Hall of Fame as Significant Contributors. To determine what qualifies for membership into the Hall of Fame as a Significant Contributor, the Hall of Fame Committee considers a number of subjective and objective factors such as: Acting as Meet Director for a fixed number of times, officiating at a fixed numbers of meets, acting as an officer or committee member of the USAW Master’s Program for a fixed number of years, or performing other useful or meritorious work which benefits the Masters Weightlifting.
Please submit your suggestions to the Chairman of the Hall of Fame Master’s Program together with the reasons you believe this person should receive that recognition.
The last recognized Significant Contributor was Morris Weisbrot inducted in 2023.
