A USA Masters Weightlifting membership will be required.

Location - Rovaniemi – Finland

Qualifying Events: 2023 World Championships through 2024 Pan Ams - including 2023 HCAM, 2024 USAMW National Masters, 2024 Pan Ams, 2023 USAW AO FINALs and 2023 USAW AO2.

All USA athletes MUST have a USA Masters membership. Athletes will pay entry fee of $195 ($175 Euro plus transfer fees) to USA Masters Weightlifting and then with access code will complete registration on the IMWA website. There are NO
refunds of entry fee for any reason.

USA entries open April 1. Deadline for USA entries is June 20 at 6PM EST.

You then have until June 30 to use access code to complete registration at www.imwa-reg.com. No late entries will be accepted. Finland requires proof of travel insurance.

USA Athletes have the choice of entering the HCAM, the Americas Cup or both - for 2 separate event medals.

The HCAM event is for USA athletes only where HCAM and National records will count. This is a qualifier for 25 Pan Ams and 25 World Masters.

The Americas Cup is a continental championships where Pan Am records and National records will count. Non USA athletes may only enter the Americas Cup. This is a qualifier for 25 Pan Ams and 25 World Masters.

ALL Athletes also have the chance to add on the Deadlift for a Super Total event where awards through 5th place will be given by formula in each group. Athletes will perform the deadlift in the last session of the day they compete. Awards for the Super Total will be given after each group finishes.

ADAPTIVE athletes are welcome to enter this event in a verified category as defined by IMWA.- please email your adaptive entry (Found here) to mastersweightliftingusa@gmail.com.​
